what's nicks? he goes UP to get it

I agree he plays bigger than he is los. From what limited action he had, I thinks it's reasonable to hope Hankerson will play the same way.

The Royal deal I don't get tho beyond the Denver connection...

I like the pickups. Garcon I'm really excited about, Morgan I hope he becomes more consistent but he was considered a sleeper by many in NFL circles. It always is encouraging when we sign players (Garcon & Morgan) that their old teams wanted to keep but for some reason couldn't. Means they saw some value in their 4 years there.

I've wanted Royal since Shanny got here and think that Moss is done so he'd be an apt replacement for Moss.

If we cut moss I see it but if not then idk. Also Hank looked great vs Miami but injury that early is scary

On Garcon and Morgan, those contracts a legit. Player-friendly, not team friendly.

Redskins got a pretty good bargain on Carriker though.

Feel like Redskins are going to hold out and try to "win" against Fletcher, where they were okay to give Garcon the eye-popping numbers he was looking for.

Good. Garçon is 25. Fletcher is 36. If we're going to invest Big in someone it should be the guy who will still be in the nfl in 5 years. Fletcher is excellent, but his best days are behind them. He's going to hit a wall sooner or later and I'd rather lose him a year too early than hold on to him a year too long. It's a tough situation but that's how a responsible team operates.

Only holds true if there's a (defensive) leader and locker-room leader to replace him. Tough call imo...

He does and his ginormus hands don't hurt. That was one of the positives about Hankerson. Royal is a burner, returner who can work the slot with Garcon and Hankerson working the outside and Morgan as the possession guy over the middle.

Plus he has 95 speed in Madden and Madden speed kills.
