Solid post 30. Garcon is a grass is greener acquisition, but we can still hope "this" is the one time (out of 10+) we're right!!

Garçons guaranteed $$ is less than 21 mil skinsfaninok 03-14-2012, 01:10 AM I know some here think these signings are garbage but think about who our QB is about to be? A young scrambler with a rocket arm that needs his recivers to have speed down field, and garcon has gotten better every year he's a good signing Skinsfanatic 03-14-2012, 01:12 AM Someone forgot a stat in comparing Moss, Gaffney and Garcon: Gaffney 31 Moss 32 Garcon 25 Gaffney and Garcon may have had similar years last season, but they are passing each other on different trajectories. GTripp0012 03-14-2012, 01:13 AM On Garcon and Morgan, those contracts a legit. Player-friendly, not team friendly. Redskins got a pretty good bargain on Carriker though. Feel like Redskins are going to hold out and try to "win" against Fletcher, where they were okay to give Garcon the eye-popping numbers he was looking for. tryfuhl 03-14-2012, 01:13 AM Look who was throwing the ball to Garcon as well skinsfaninok 03-14-2012, 01:22 AM Look who was throwing the ball to Garcon as well Last year was SS throwing him the ball and he had a good year. :) The Goat 03-14-2012, 01:38 AM If you have a big athletic tight end you don't necessarily need a tall receiver on the outside, it helps but its not necessary, The Packers and Patriots don't really have giant all receivers. I believe the first round that your record indicates, so if the Patriots wanted to give up a pick it would be the 31 and not the 27th. Not sure though. Speaking of the Giants, they don't have a 6'2 plus possession WR either but still have a great passing game (because of Peyton's baby brother). It really depends on the QB and more specifically how accurate he is i.e. less accurate QBs will need larger WR to reach the same completion success as the more accurate passer w/ average size WR. Fingers crossed RGIII is the latter :) los panda 03-14-2012, 01:40 AM what's nicks? he goes UP to get it EARTHQUAKE2689 03-14-2012, 01:45 AM Nicks is 6'1" 208lbs skinsfaninok 03-14-2012, 01:48 AM Nicks is 6'1" 208lbs He plays like he's 6"4 |
