It ain't every down, but it is scary looking.
12 men on the field shouldn't be happening on ANY down!
Lotus 03-13-2012, 10:06 PM I think you bring a good point...and I would like to emphasize how much of a departure from the "old ways' these signings are. All of these guys are 25-26, haven't reach their full potential. And they may end up reaching 1000+ yds as Redskins.
Yes sir. Better to catch them on the ascent than on the descent.
Besides, Garcon came close to 1,000 yards with Curtis Freakin' Painter in charge of the offense.
CapitalPunishment 03-13-2012, 10:07 PM Do you guys think that it should be a concern that LH is our tallest WR at 6'2? I mean, if he pans out, awesome. But without him, we are looking at Davis for our jump balls? Not a huge factor in all this, but just curious what others though.
Also, maybe someone can answer this for me. When a team makes a trade for a restricted player and is required to give up a 1st round pick...does that team, if they have two 1st rounders, have the right to give them whatever 1st rounder they want? Or do they have to give them the pick that the team earned by their own record?
donofriose 03-13-2012, 10:07 PM Signings were a little bit too much for me but at least we got young players. We still need help on the OLINE, MLB, and secondary, but maybe they have a plan through the draft we will see. still would have liked to go after the kid from the texans but he might have been too expensive. Who knows.

I am waiting for everyone to point out my mistake. Thanks for getting me closer to that goal.

In his one game, Hank was showing some good vertical ability. It would be nice to get a big guy though, although at this point WR would be an overkill.

If you have a big athletic tight end you don't necessarily need a tall receiver on the outside, it helps but its not necessary, The Packers and Patriots don't really have giant all receivers. I believe the first round that your record indicates, so if the Patriots wanted to give up a pick it would be the 31 and not the 27th. Not sure though.

I forgot about Hank but yea he is lengthy but we have at least decent size in regards to WR and tight end.

Wikipedia has his banner in burgundy and gold. And we know wikipedia never lies, which is why I cited it on all my college papers...

You are correct. You surrender the pick you earned, not the pick you traded for.
