Lol... I love how this $36M cap charge has been the talk of the town, yet the Skins come out firing on all cylinders.
It'd be nice to get an idea of what the hell is going on. The NFL has only alluded to it.
Still it'll be fun to see the commish announce the Skins and Cowboy picks come April 26. Redskin and Cowboy fans booing together. Should be quite a sight.

Might be the only time you see Skins fans and Cowboys fans come together on anything NFL related.

If Moss gets cut after June 1 doesn't that save the Skins over $3 million? I thought his deadcap number significantly drops after June 1.
I think DHall saves us over $6 million when cut after June 1.
- Moss' deadcap hits would be $4M in 2012, or after June 1st $2M in 2012 and $2M in 2013.
- DHall saves us $6M no matter when we cut him. His deadcap hits are negligible.

Can someone explain to me this teams obsession with WR's? I assume that they don't care to try and see what the guys they drafted can do. Hope this works out but I'm very skeptical. Garcon is kind of an average wr, maybe a little above average. I have no idea what they see in Royal or Morgan.
Can you be any more pessimistic? Every time i read one of your post you are bitching about something..

Thank you Canuck...
Gotta cut Hall now then. No way is he worth $6M. Never could tackle ("That's why my brother cut your ass"-R.Ryan) and could barely cover last year (certainly not Dez Bryant).

Aren't you always skeptical? At least you're consistent. Maybe shanny thinks these guys skill sets mesh well with our offensive scheme and RG3. Eddie Royal has a connection with Shanny in Denver. Morgan and Garcon both young and fast. Be happy we aren't settling for the status quo. Or don't, your choice... ;)
I'd be 100% on board if this way worked, but it never does. I don't see any of the winning organizations doing this every year. I understand Royal has the connection but he really is just another ho hum wr. I'd just rather see if Paul & Hank can progress since we drafed them and they have a year under the offense. It's the constant falling in love w/ other teams players.
As for Garcon... Doesn't Luck need wr's just as much as RG3? So why'd Indy just let him walk? Yeah...that makes me skeptical.

hall could make a good ball hawking free safety i believe. he has great ball skills and hands, his man to man coverage is what stinks. lavar and dukes tossed the idea around. we definitely need help at safety, and we could bring in corner help in FA

When free agency begins, big-name players will fly off the market, but you should also expect some lesser-known guys to go quickly -- and become very wealthy in their own right. For example, wide receiver Josh Morgan is a hot name right now. He is hot because he will cost less than some of the more recognizable wideouts, like Vincent Jackson and Marques Colston, yet might play as well. Morgan has the potential to become a star if he goes to the right team and can stay healthy. He only started five games last year for the San Francisco 49ers before a broken leg put him on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Yet his talent is undeniable and teams will pay well for his services. He will be off the market before Sunday.

1) Hank will still be around and maybe Paul.
2) Indy offered Garcon $7 mil a year and he turned them down. They hardly "just let him walk."
