Moss performing like a receiver 'possessed' (http://www.csnwashington.com/football-washington-redskins/redskins-talk/moss-performing-like-a-receiver-possesse?blockID=724578&feedID=6355)
I guess Tana isn't done nor getting cut...
I like it a lot. Moss has real competition and a legit QB this year. Hes probably also motivated knowing he only has a couple years left and that if he doesnt produce this year it will probably be his last.
I dont know about him droping 10-15 lbs, but i guess he has too. Should definetly give him his speed back, but i hope he can last the whole season.

I thought it was crazy when some fans started doubting Tana's place on the roster, especially after we cut the only other vet WR w/ experience in our offensive system. Tana knows he's gonna have a huge season !!!!
Little concerned to hear Morgan is a bit gimpy already and the team is concerned enough about Hank to keep him out of mini camp, so critical for younger players, and especially with a rookie QB. There could be a lot of pressure on Garcon to produce this year, which is really how it should be anyway. And I expect a lot from our TEs (Davis, Cooley, Paul).
Do you remember last season? Tana had a horrible year. I always been a Tana fan, but sounds like he needed some motivation. He needs to comeback strong.

Is it just me or are you singing a new tune now that we hear Moss has been acting like a child possessed?
Tana has always frustrated me w/ too many fumbles, drops and sometimes just mailing it in. On the other hand I thought/said all along he'd be here this season (along w/ Gaffney, mistakenly) because he knows the system while our others guys are new/recovering from injury.
Definitely was hoping he'd come in looking sharp with Griffin at the helm and a new opportunity for the franchise. Gotta give Tana props and I won't be surprised if he has the most yards of the WR corp.

Santana Moss might have an explosive year this year. He might end up being the most productive out of all of the wide receivers. The additions of Garcon and Morgan are huge, but don't count out Moss to end up with more production than those two.

Why not? It is conceivable after all...
Anyway, it's all just opinions and conjecture at this point. Maybe it'll be Alfred Morris with the most production receiving the ball from RG3. Who knows?

Why?
Namely because he knows the system already and both Morgan and Garcon are new to the system. Regardless of he's on the field for the same number of plays with Garcon or Morgan or not, he could still end up having the most receptions and the most yards out of all the receivers. What if Kyle Shanahan goes with plays that have 3 WR sets for most of the time? That would give Moss the chance to produce from the slot where he could do more damage than the both the split ends.

Either way, he was kind of in the doghouse this past season but has totally redeemed him self it seemsWhat makes you say Tana was in the doghouse last year?
Sure, his production wasn't what it was in 2010 but he did miss 4 games playing through a broken hand.
I gotta imagine that a broken hand is a tough injury for a receiver.
Santana Moss' spot on Redskins looks secure - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d829dc335/article/santana-moss-spot-on-redskins-looks-secure)
"I see [Moss] as one of the premier guys in the NFL at (the slot) position," offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said via the Washington Post.
We should have known it wouldn't be so easy to get rid of him.

Because people who work there told me he slacked a bit too much between games and coaches weren't happy about it

good to hear moss is playing well. Nothing better for a young quarterback than a reliable and athletic tight end (Davis and Cooley), a young pass catching RB (Helu), and a focused veteran receiver (Moss). If our line stays healthy, we will see alot more points this year than redskins are used to seeing...........and I'd wager that 20 point ceiling we seem to have an issue with will be a thing of the past.
