If Hankerson continues to show us what he did last year before his injury, Moss continues to be a solid contributor, as well as Garcon on Morgan, I don't think there's room for Gaffney nor Banks. I like Banks a lot, but unless he can show some skills as being a wide receiver, I think his days are numbered.
Gaffney is about to be traded and Banks didn't make the roster the last two seasons by being a wide receiver. If Banks has a couple of long returns on punts and kickoffs in preseason, expect him to remain.

Our WR Core is starting to look so good!
Woah now...pump the brakes we haven't seen how Garcon and Morgan look/will do once being paid and if they get injured or fit with RG3...

we may want to draft a player like Juron Criner and that would make Gaffney exspendable.

Gaffney is expendable now.

Gaffney is expendable now.
Mike Shanahan makes me so mad with his micro managing style. He's about to trade his best WR from last year. Gaffney can be a difference maker possession receiver or not and plus he's a veteran with experience. Apparently Gaffney is not an effective YAC guy, and you have to be a YAC guy if you're operating in the west coast offense.
I'm very disappointed to see Jabar Gaffney go.

That he was our best receiver last year is more an indictment of our receivers than a testament to him

Definitely.
He's been a solid but nothing spectacular kind of player over the course of his career, but if he's leading your team in most receiving categories, that's not a good thing.

I think it says alot about Moss in the bigger picture

...same story w/ Garcon in Indy except some observers say he's even less consistent.

^ Which observers say Garcon is less consistent than Gaffney. I think some of you have a strong misconception of what Gaffney is.
Garcon > Gaffney
Moss > Gaffney
Hankerson > Gaffney
Morgan > Gaffney
At best he is our 5th best WR. What are you guys crying over Gaffney for? Lets get real here.
