CultBrennan59 03-20-2012, 01:34 AM he's better than Reed Who isn't better than Reed? iRepDMV 03-20-2012, 01:51 AM So what in the world is going on with London Fletcher? Is he coming back or what?! My guess, BOLD guess is that maybe were moving on without him and continuing on with youth movement. steveherrin 03-20-2012, 02:32 AM So much for aaron ross: CB Aaron Ross agrees to 3 Year deal in Jacksonville, deal worth up to $15.3M. #freeagency Per JLC Sent from my SPH-M820-BST using Tapatalk BabyLuku 03-20-2012, 03:06 AM So what in the world is going on with London Fletcher? Is he coming back or what?! My guess, BOLD guess is that maybe were moving on without him and continuing on with youth movement. It would make sense with the rest of the moves. As much as I want him back it would be puzzling if he was resigned with the direction they have gone in so far. But I guess there is still a spot for a veteran with Fletchs type of leadership on a young team. CRedskinsRule 03-20-2012, 03:26 AM So what in the world is going on with London Fletcher? Is he coming back or what?! My guess, BOLD guess is that maybe were moving on without him and continuing on with youth movement. I hope Bruce Allen sat down with him, thanked him for being what the Skins look for, showed him a Very Good offer sheet, told him we really want him back, but understand his desire to look at other teams, and now we(the Skins) are letting him come to his own decision. I hope he comes back here, but you have to be able to let older players decide their own end. He would have been a decent pickup for us and he is a better pickup for Jacksonville, but if you had made me guess, I would have predicted that 2/6 would have been about the ceiling on his earnings. That's not to suggest Jacksonville overpaid, but it's a longer contract that I thought he'd get. vallin21 03-20-2012, 03:40 AM 3yr 15 mil for Ross, a 30 yr old CB is just too much... glad we didn't overpay, but it would've been nice had he signed here... Tracy Porter is still available, which to me is surprising. Ruhskins 03-20-2012, 06:03 PM I saw on Twitter that Kory L. signed his tender. Are there any other RFAs left to sign? I know one of them was Gano. Gtothearry 03-20-2012, 06:55 PM I hope Bruce Allen sat down with him, thanked him for being what the Skins look for, showed him a Very Good offer sheet, told him we really want him back, but understand his desire to look at other teams, and now we(the Skins) are letting him come to his own decision. I hope he comes back here, but you have to be able to let older players decide their own end. I think this is exactly what is happening. Eventually I see Fletch realizing the Skins offering as the best he will get. |
