I agree I would be fine with Meriweather at either Free or Strong. Hes got the range and speed to play Free, but with our situation at safety now I like him in the box bc he is physical. Bottom line is we need another starting safety across from him regardless if its strong or free. Here is Scouts Inc's report on him: Grade: 52 | Key Comment: Haslam has adequate initial quickness and average agility and body control. He has to work to keep his pad level down to leverage blocks. He needs to work on getting his hands up and into opponents quicker -- he often lets defensive linemen get into him too quickly. He is not especially quick or agile when pulling or trapping and can struggle when in space but does have strong hands. He needs to work on recognizing stunts and twists.
