EARTHQUAKE2689 03-18-2012, 01:18 PM It does but at this point Cleveland doesn't have a choice. CultBrennan59 03-18-2012, 01:35 PM he'll go nicely with moss and manning. I still think they've got to be the favorites just based on team talaent and warm weather. their travel schedule is always a #@$@ though. luck -> indy rg3 -> was flynn -> dolphins ryan T -> browns at pick 22? kolb -> cards henne -> jags orton -> dallas (backup) alex smith -> ??? (sea?) hasslebeck -> ??? (ten?) mcnabb -> unemployed. best guesses... Yeah good guesses. I would value tannehill like you do but the 'other draft analysts' say that he's a possible top 5 pick now.. Manning, if he went to San Fran, would be a great fit and would make them almost a super bowl lock. Then again I said the same thing with the eagles this past season Ruhskins 03-18-2012, 01:38 PM Alex Smith visiting the Dolphins per Schefter. CultBrennan59 03-18-2012, 01:45 PM Alex Smith visiting the Dolphins per Schefter. I think Flynn and smith are all going to wait until Manning signs. Well Flynn maybe not. I have a bad feeling mannings going to make a dumb choice going to Tennessee even though he should go to San Fran. skinsfaninok 03-18-2012, 01:45 PM Alex Smith visiting the Dolphins per Schefter. Not a shock Dirtbag59 03-18-2012, 04:29 PM Not a shock Is he really an upgrade over Moore though? SmootSmack 03-18-2012, 04:44 PM Alex Smith visiting the Dolphins per Schefter. He also plans to visit Seattle. And Garrard is visiting the Dolphins as well Chief X_Phackter 03-18-2012, 04:51 PM yeah, 4 just seems soo high though for him. I see miami is trying out alex smith... if he goes there, maybe flynn lands in seattle. I'm surprised no one has really gone out for flynn yet though. seems really quiet there. I'm not surprised. It is a risky move. See Arizona and Kolb... Dirtbag59 03-18-2012, 04:59 PM I think the Browns take Tannehill at 4 or they don't get him. My current top 10: 1. Colts- Andrew Luck, QB Stanford 2. Redskins- Robert Griffin III, QB Baylor 3. Vikings- Matt Khalil, OT, USC 4. Browns- Ryan Tannehill, QB Texas A&M 5. Bucs- Trent Richardson, RB Alabama 6. Rams- Justin Blackmon, WR Oklahoma State 7. Jags- Morris Claiborne, CB LSU (Value Pick) 8. Dolphins- Michael Floyd, WR Notre Dame 9. Panthers- Dontari Poe, DT Memphis 10. Bills- Johnathan Martin, OT Stanford I just don't see the Browns overdrafting Tannehill. Apparently their receivers led the league in drops and their running attack was non-existent with Hillis out. I can easily see them opting for either the sure handed Blackmon or the all-purpose Richardson. The Bucs taking Richardson would be interesting seeing as how they drafted Cadillac Williams (another SEC back) in that same spot back in 2005 then again like the Rams facing the prospect of drafting another LT in the top 10, it's a different regime. I would be curious however to see if the Rams could swing for another trade back with either the Dolphins or Seahawks for Tannehill. EARTHQUAKE2689 03-18-2012, 05:43 PM I could see them going Richardson as well and I would if I were them and take a QB not named Weeden in the 2nd, but I feel they won't get Flynn, lost on Griffin III, and really don't have a choice. Is Tannehill a top 4 pick to me? Hell no, but you need a QB and a Tannehill/Kendall Wright/David Wilson draft might sound better to them than say Richardson/Kendall Wright/Osweiler although I would choose the ladder. |
