Cowboys overspent for Carr... he's not worth 10 mil per
Where do you come up with 10 mil per year?
His guaranteed money is only 26 million. Thats all that matters anyway is the guaranteed money. They have the option to void the final year of the contract in 2013.
They can take his salary in 2013 and convert it to a signing bonus and prorate that over 3 years. Which means his total salary cap numbers will be over the next 4 years are 3.2 for 2012 and 4.2 mil over the next 3 years after that.
In fact, all 6 free agents the Cowboys have signed this year will only count 11 million against the cap this year.
I don't see where you come up with 10 mil/yr just for Carr though?
They had this little tid bit on walterfootball about Peyton Hillis in his free agent description:
"Update: Hillis reportedly has thought about quitting football to become a CIA agent. Umm... what? Teams will definitely question his dedication."
lol dude must have some screws loose
Already been debunked as BS.
Hillis denies CIA story | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/02/hillis-denies-cia-story/)
Cribbs thinks former agent planted Hillis CIA story | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/04/cribbs-thinks-former-agent-planted-hillis-cia-story/)
which was?
Reminiscent of 'hey guys I was on the radio today'...

I don't see where you come up with 10 mil/yr just for Carr though? It's thirty three million in years 1-3, so it's really $11 mil/year on Carr through the years where they can't move him b/c of the contract. After that point, it's two additional years at 8.5 mil, which is more reasonable.
Money is frontloaded because that's the only way he'd sign.

In 2013 his base salary is 14mil per ESPN Dallas. That's an overpay but had to be done in order to get him. And they will certainly restructure it next year
Edit wrong year

I made that assumption the day he signed, and didn't care to look up the actual structure of his deal when the contract details were released (I'm not a Dallas fan)... but since you've analyzed, disected, and vividly explained Carr's his contract, it's a more reasonable signing, but I'd also add another CB to replace M. Jenkins

yall just better play a ton of zone. He was terrible last year man to man, and Flowers took #1WR most of the time.
