Per Chris Russell (I know some of you guys hate him) the Skins weren't interested in him to begin with and I saw some other tweets that say the plan has been about surrounding RG3 with a receiving corps he can grow up with rather then one that will need to be replaced by the time we're ready to make a serious run (aka 2014).

That's the sense I had gotten at the end of the season...along with the sense we weren't serious about moving up for Griffin

Wow. I assumed he'd want to have a chance to play with Peyton. Sounds like he's hedging his future on the rookie.
