3 high draft picks for one guy? What an overpay! When do we ever get on the right side of trades? Never. I like RG3 a lot but not at this price. This team simply isn't in a position to throw away high draft picks.

I guess No-one remember us completely ripping off the the Rams 3 years ago in the Carriker trade. It might not be that sexy but we got a first round talent and a starter for 14 spots in the 5th round. And it really looks like we were on the right side of the Blaine Gabbert move back trade last year where we got some guy named kerrigan ( I think he is going to be pretty good) and another draft pick. I will admit that these trades have been few and far between in the last ten years or so but that was the old regime this one has a track record albeit small but a track record all the same of making great trades and hopefully this will turn into the best one yet.

I love this move and think it absolutely had to happen.

If RG III were white, fans would apporve this trade in a heartbeat. LOL

No need to dumb the thread down. Almost 90% already approve.

This move tells me that BA, MS, DS believe we can win now. Thats why we mortgaged our future.

Smooooot, you sound like your not too happy with the deal. rg3 wasn't your first choice?

I'm not unhappy with it at all. Just wish we had held onto our 2nd.

WOW. Thats all I have to say. I called this trade 4 months ago.

My question is though, if Washington gave THAT much up to get RGIII, why not go up one more for Luck? Would the price be that much more for one slot?

Either way, the Skins are getting (were obviously assuming) a GREAT quarterback, on paper that is.

I wish it could have been a 2nd next year instead. But it was probably the trump card that pushed this deal over the top.

Still, I could see Allen doing something to move back up.

Hey so where's the "insider" that was convinced we were getting McCoy and Shipley?

Probably crying in his corn flakes this morning.

Not that I think we care about getting Luck, but if we did the only way to do that would be to get to 2 and then trade to 1. The Colts need one of the 2 quarterbacks, so I don't think they would have traded down to 6 no matter what.

Why give up another for Luck if ya think Griffin is better or at least equal to Luck?
