I don't like what we gave up. But in reality no one truly knows how RGIII will be as an NFL QB or how the Rams picks will turn out for at least a season or two. As of this very second, the score is 0-0...stay tuned.

Real mature. You all will always hear this now when we have an heated argument of whose right and whose wrong. but back to getting Mr. Griffin! We may have gotten our franchise QB! I'm embarrassed we root for the same team. Are you going to be rooting for the Redskins to lose games this year too? GTripp0012 03-10-2012, 12:13 AM But you were not right. You did not predict 3 #1's and a #2. Smug without a cause are you.And Veldheer's sack against came in a D-II playoff game. So he was was only right on that one on a technicality he wasn't aware of. SkinzWin 03-10-2012, 12:14 AM So is it offical that its 3 firsts and a 2nd? Or might be we be getting a later round pick(s) somewhere too? I mean, I wanted RGIII, I'm happy we got him... think it's too much, no doubt... I have seen some people say 2nd. Other say the 2nd isn't finalized yet. I hope like shit it's not.... CultBrennan59 03-10-2012, 12:14 AM Well, you're on a torrid pace. At this rate, you'll be right again in 2014! That was actually specifically for you (the veldheer thing) cause that always stuck in the back of my mind and I was going to politely bring that up to you on a draft board but like I said I'm so amped right now I'm jumping around like a kid at christmas that we got griffin. Predicting the NFL is 50-50. I think we all can go on this board and point out the he's right/you're rights about so many subjects. skinsfaninok 03-10-2012, 12:15 AM Dude Cult U called it I'll say that but lets get back to RGIII GusFrerotte 03-10-2012, 12:15 AM I get sick of hearing how deficient this team is currently. Think about our games last year. If Grossman and Beck wasn't our QB we could've easily won probably 5 more games. You must have missed a lot of drops by our receivers, or the terrible O line play due to starters being injured, etc. Fred Davis, Fletch, Kerrigan and Helu were our heroes last season, that was pretty much it. Hightower was fine till he got banged up, then he broke his leg. Just before he broke his leg he was only getting 2 ypg his last two games. Also, I think our starting O line isn't really all that hot. Throw in the probability of losing Landry and Fletch and well you have a lot of holes, especially if they trade Orakpo to try and get some picks back. Now we have to pray we find another Cooley gem or two in the mid to late rounds this season to actually make the 2-7 rounds worthwhile. 44Deezel 03-10-2012, 12:16 AM Stupid. You just traded away 3 badly needed starters for one. What happened through getting more picks like NE and building steadily. This kid isn't a Manning or Elway or Luck type out of college. He is a very good QB no less, but played in a weakend Big 12 that happens to be defensively deficient most of the time. Snyder has done it again, got the fans snagged on the hot sexy pick, hoping it will pan out. I think BA and Shanny are feeling the heat so they went against the plan to save their asses. I like RG III a lot, but 3 first rounders for a still unproven commodity at the NFL level is not wise. I agree. Someone else in this draft or in free agency is going to turn out to be a better QB and the team who didn't give everything up to get that QB will be more successful. Flynn, Tannehill, Weeden, Cousins, etc. Do we even know Cleveland was a threat? If they got Flynn, we would have been in the driver's seat. This seems like a move of the previous regime. Competing against themselves. theJBexperience 03-10-2012, 12:16 AM Glad we got RGIII! But will he be able to handle this Ricky Williams level pressure to perform, since so much was traded to get him? CultBrennan59 03-10-2012, 12:16 AM  I'm embarrassed we root for the same team. Are you going to be rooting for the Redskins to lose games this year too? Nah, we got our QB. I wanted us to lose for Luck. Hey, atleast with that we wouldn't be giving up 3 firsts! But I'm happy with Griffin. It is chemistry to. If we had tanked our season some glue guys like Fletch wouldnt have come back. I'm just happy to have Griffin. |
