My man. I just know what I've seen the past two years. Shannahan has 2 trophies, Manning has one. Manning reminds me of Jergensen, great qb not so much a great team. He's a down field kind of guy. The shannys want to win their way so they can say they did it their way. Manning would do something that the shannys think is heiresy, he would audible and check with me, and the shannys would explode on national TV, it would be a spectacle.
I was just kidding. Do you even know what I am referencing?

Because that would be stupid.

Because that would be stupid.
Break it down for me why it would be so.

Manning isn't going somewhere that isn't committed to Peyton Manning. Trading up for RG3 would be, by definition, not committing to Peyton Manning.
I'm not even sure Manning would give the a-OK to draft Kirk Cousins in the second round.
The guy who would back up Manning, in all likelihood, would be Rex Grossman.

Here is what a QB who actually played for MS thinks about Peyton to the Skins and particulary Peyton working with MS.
Steve Young thinks Peyton Manning to the Redskins is a fit - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/post/steve-young-thinks-peyton-manning-to-the-redskins-is-a-fit/2012/02/08/gIQAY0pNzQ_blog.html)
Take it from a player who has played for the guy, rather than an analyst.
I think his take on Mike basically wanting a QB who can protect his judgement is spot on and epitimizes what Peyton can do for him.

Report: Dolphins believe they have “good chance” to sign Manning | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/06/report-dolphins-believe-they-have-good-chance-to-sign-manning/)
So part 1 of the RG3 leverage plan is looking good. Now for part 2. Getting Flynn to Cleveland instead of Seattle.

Pick one of Wayne or Garcon, and let the other go. A case can be made for either, but not both. Wayne does have the U connection though. ;)
I guess I would take the younger one, but honestly there has to be better options out there. I for one am not going to pay a premium contract to Wayne and Garcon is often injured.
