Tiny? Charlotte is the 17th largest city in the US.

Top 50 Cities in the U.S. by Population and Rank — Infoplease.com (http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0763098.html)

Charlotte is bigger than DC.

Market size. Media and pro sports market.

If it were a bigger sports market, we'd still have the Charlotte Hornets. No one (nationally) cared about the Panthers until Cam Newton arrived.

There's no way anyone can claim that DC isn't considered one of the busiest media towns in the nation, up there with NYC and LA.

Charlotte is small potatoes.

The QB of the Redskins is always a big headline-grabber, even with bad and mediocre QBs. Look how much attention McNabb drew from the national media when he came to town. It's going be that times infinity when RG3 suits up.

This is getting interesting. So much for him making a decision by Tuesday.

There were reports out there that say he won't be making a decision on Tuesday.

I haven't seen any of those yet, probably because Fox Sports is the only unblocked NFL related site at work and I can't even load it on my computer due to how outdated my computer is. This is pretty much my go-to place for news when I'm at work lol.

You are misinformed. The Hornets didn't move away because it was a small market. It was due to the fact that George Shinn wanted a brand new stadium after about 6 years into the league and the Charlotte taxpayers weren't going to foot the bill. He became despised (and still is) that people stopped going to the games just to spite him (including playoff games). Before that time, the Hornets were among the league leaders in attendance.

The only reason nobody cared about the Panthers is because it was a expansion team. Hell, Los Angeles can't even gather more interest in a NFL team than the Panthers can.

Then you'll have to take my word for it when I say that the 49ers cut Patrick Willis and we signed him to a vet min contract.
