I can't see drafting a WR is any priority in this years draft. Unless some stud drops pretty low and its one of those "how can we pass this player up" I dont see where we need any further WR on this roster. We need OL depth and secondary additions. PERIOD

He's a workout warrior for sure. My concern with him is lack of experience since all GT does is run the ball. On the pro level, that translates to the question of how quickly he can contribute. That said, someone may reach a bit (Patriots?) and snag him late 1st....

GM, don't mean to burst your bubble, but my uncle coached Chris Carter at OSU, and he tended to emphasize the run. Statistically he was close to 50/50 with regards to the run/pass ratio, but with Keith Byars at RB, he ran first, passed second. My point is if the man has the tools all you have to do is coach him up a bit. He could be the next TO for all we know.

I wish i could vote against the title of this thread. As a Redskins fan, how could you in good conscious discuss wideouts and the 2nd round in the same sentence?

Because i started this thread before the trade.

I would definitely draft Mike Shanahan. Not the coach of the Redskins but the wide receiver from Pitt. The guy plays like Joe Jurevicius and is around the same size. But Shanahan won't be coming out until next year's draft in 2013.
