I'll miss LL but thats his fault for not having surgery and I agree Quake, Carr is my first CB choice but IDT we get him.

Jerry Jones is going to overpay for Carr or Finnegan. Don't want to get into a bidding war with that fool.

I doubt that Jones is going to get both, I prefer Finnegan, that guy just has a swagger about him that the team could use, but Carr is younger

Both of these guys will be expensive. We don't need swagger, we just need good players. And right now, we need a replacement for Landry more than we need a #1 CB. Now, a team could always use a shut down corner, but I can see the Cowpukes setting the market for a #1 CB really high by overpaying one of these two guys.

If the Redskins go after a CB in free agency, I would prefer Terrell Thomas. He'd be less expensive and without Finnegan's attitude problem. Plus it'd be nice to steal him from the G-men.

Finnegan gets a bad rap, he seems like a really good dude who just plays his heart out and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He tries to get into the WR heads to have an edge and it works (Andre Johnson). Hes a hell of a player who would make are secondary much better. I also think people are forgetting that we have Raheem coaching our secondary this year. I think him alone is going to be a HUGE improvement in our coverage. Look at his teams defensive passing yards allowed other than last year, even when he wasnt a head coach. Im very excited to see him re vitalize our secondary.

Finnegan has created his own bad rep...

So hes chippy, thats football. (excluding the fight with johnson). Hes not a liability off the field, and he does not have a lousy work ethic. Those are the important areas with someones attitude, not a few unecessary roughness penalties... Paleesssee

Did you even read the articles? These are three personal fouls for fighting during games. How is that not a liability ON the field?

On-field incidents

In September 2010, Finnegan was fined $5,000 for throwing New York Giants wide receiver Steve Smith to the ground by his helmet.[4] In October 2010, Finnegan was fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness after hitting Denver Broncos guard Chris Kuper after Kuper's helmet was off. After this incident, the NFL warned Finnegan that similar violations in the future could lead to increased discipline.[5] On November 28, 2010, Finnegan was involved in a fist fight with Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson. Each player was ejected, and each subsequently fined $25,000.[6] His history with Johnson dates back to at least 2009, in the September 20 matchup between the two teams. After Johnson had beaten Finnegan's coverage, Finnegan jumped on Johnson's back before the ball reached them, resulting in Finnegan being flagged for pass interference.

He goes well beyond "chippy."
