Good news I presume they are thinking, after tagging him that they could save more money now by getting him to agree to a cheaper contract so the saved money could be used on another FA? Because it really doesn't make sense to tag someone then try to come to an agreement prior to FA opening up. They could have used the TAG on someone else.
