Signing Eric Winston needs be our #1 priority Day 1 of FA- he's regraded as one of the league's best RT's and is an EXCELLENT fit in the ZBS.

Sign Winston; and cut J. Brown right after (or before)

- We can sign Winston NOW cause he just got cut.

- If we cut Jamal we supposedly although I haven't confirmed this we get hit with a $6 million penalty cap penalty.

if we want to save roughly $1.5M in cap space this year, we have to keep brown

Can't cut Brown, costs more than to keep him. While he's probably done as a starter since we have to keep him that means quality depth.

Winston would be an INSTANT upgrade if he's healthy.

There are worse things than saving money by having Jammal Brown on your bench.

Makes sense... Didn't know the particulars of J. Brown's contract; 1.5 Mil gained and a 6 million dollar hit isn't worth him getting axed.

It appears that Randy Moss has signed with the 49ers

According to Schefter it is a 1-year deal. (https://twitter.com/#!/AdamSchefter/status/179378689803431936)

Even if he only runs one route, it's still a damn good route to run. I think he'll really help the Niners out with a downfield presence next year.

Matt Williamson from Scouts Inc brought up a good question...can Alex Smith bomb it down the field for Moss?
