I love the fact that he quickly tries to shoot down the Mike Vick mentality that some fans have. And it's fairly obvious if you watch him play he doesn't think like Vick at all. I want this kid. This video just confirms it further.

I think the perception is that Vick is dumb. I remember watching a piece on Andy Reid and he was saying how quickly Vick picked up his offense. I think Vick's a smart guy, he's just made some really bad decisions in his life.

Interesting how he says he doesn't like being called RGIII...and then Mooch calls him that.

I tend to agree that Vick isn't as dumb as he looks, but he definitely has made poor decisions. I just think fans are using the lazy comparison when they talk about why they don't want RG3.

@Lotus: Upstaging Mooch in his own interview? That's a paddlin'.

Graduated from High School early, honor student at Baylor, recruited by Stanford with Andrew Luck. I still maintain that his IQ is over 140.

As much as I want this guy, I really hope we don't give up the amount of picks that I'm hearing. One of the reasons we've never had any type of quality depth around here is cause of the careless attitude about trading away draft picks.

What are you referring to in terms of price because I just read an article on ESPN yesterday saying that they're looking for a deal similar to what the Chargers got for Eli (2 first, a third, and an old vet) aka the Eli Standard.

I've heard the 1st this year..no big deal cause you're just swaping picks. But a 2nd and 3rd this year and a 1st next year. Plus a starter... let's say Orakpo? Just waaaaay too steep of a price. That's 3 potential starters and a starter for one guy.

The Washington Redskins have apparently identified Robert Griffin III as the player they want in the 2012 NFL Draft and, according to the Washington Post, are willing to part with two first-round picks, as well as other picks, in order to get him. With Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck projected to go No. 1, the St. Louis Rams likely control the fate of Griffin and they've expressed a willingness to trade out of the position for a haul similar to the one the San Diego Chargers netted in 2004.

Two 1st, a 3rd, and a vet. Relax now. This is business. The Allen will be smart.

I don't like what I'm hearing but we'll see what happens.
