How would you all feel about Manning and Cousins?

Is the team seriously considering this or are you just throwing stuff out there?

I'd take Manning/Cousins

Cousins will be a career back up....but I'd take him over Grossbeck.

None in Gaither? I know he's nuts, but he's damn good when he plays.

How would you feel about Weeden and Dennis Dixon....would be an example of just throwing it out there

Between Nick Foles and Brandon Weeden, which of them is the better quarterback?I guess its a matter of preference both are good prospects.
First things first: I'm not put off by Weeden's age at all.

For me Weeden and Foles are similar prospects in that they are separated from the top tier QBs in this class because of ther comparative lack of athleticism and playmaking.
I think Weeden's velocity is really underrated, to my eye Weeden provides the same plus level of arm talent. (And it was on display at the combine where Weeden looked like he had the bigger arm then Foles)
From the games I've watched Weeden seems like the more polished QB.
Weeden is a more efficient passer even though to my eye plays with a more aggressive style (maybe its scheme or mentality?)
Foles seems to throw more 'gimme' passes where Weeden seems to attack more.
Finally Weeden to my eye has much cleaner footwork then Foles.

Weeden reminds me of a less athletic Andy Dalton but with better arm talent.

From what we all know as of right now, Manning does appear to be plan B if the Rams to do accept what we are offering for the #2 pick, so Manning is definately in the picture with said rookie to be named at the draft.

Manning/Tannehill is my number 1 choice atm

lol, i didnt mean thowing out there as just throwing crap, but was more trying to ask legitmate speculation vs. based on actual rumors youve heard....

although id still take weeden and dixon over beck and grossman.

i'd be extremely excited about manning/cousins.

however, i'd also be extremely excited about trading a buttload of picks for griffin (i've actually warmed up to the guy. i started out dead-opposed to griffin b/c i thought he was not worth trading up for. im still not overly impressed with highlight reels ive seen as the competition isnt all that great but ive listened to a few interviews with him and am sold. he seems to have all the intangibles you could ever want in a qb. hes got the confidence of grossman and its actually backed up by this little thing called talent.

in the end, i think id prefer going manning/cousins, saving our draft picks, and signing wayne/garcon and saturday to give the offense the smoothest possible transition. cousins is nowhere near ready to start, but has tons of potential and the intangibles you want. he'd need a few years behind manning.

How would you all feel about Manning and Cousins?

If Manning got hurt then Cousins would be our starter? Are we trying to relive the 2011 Colts?
