Dirtbag59 02-29-2012, 12:20 AM Not bad.
I don't get the feeling Clausen will be here
Jets don't want to take the hit of releasing Sanchez. Thats why they are trying desoerately to gauge his value right now before Peyton's in play
Actually I'm curious to see if they do go the Peyton route will they keep Sanchez around like they did with Clemens after acquiring Favre. Granted it's a different situation with Sanchez's contract but it'll be interesting to see.
Jets would probably be the best situation for the Manning family. The two brothers get to compete with each other without competing with each other all the while getting a chance to see each other on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure the parents would like that situation as well.

Makes good sense, but I wonder if Peyton wants to put of w/ R Ryan's nonsense?
SFREDSKIN 02-29-2012, 12:43 AM If the Redskins are going to "Ditka" this draft then they should go all the way and try to trade with Indy (needs picks just like the Rams) for Luck, if you are going to blow a load do it right.

I don't think anyone is suggesting going Ditka to get RGIII. Going Eli seems to be more appropriate. Of course I think some of you are holding out for this prospect from the 2032 class.

WillH 02-29-2012, 01:06 AM That's a little rough. Gil is sharp as a tack for an old man and knows these players like the back of his hand. Huff is as senile as the day is long and sounds confused every time he opens his mouth.
If were gonna bash people on Sirius...lets talk Sheinbox. God awful windbag...
Despite your positive sentiment, what you said is expressly ageist.
I don't mean to be annoying, but as an aging services professional, I feel compelled to advocate. If it were racially insensitive I suspect we'd all say something. Just trying to spread a positive message:
Elderhood should not be seen as an inevitable period of decline leading to death, but a stage of continued personal, interpersonal, and spiritual growth. It is also a stage of life at which we achieve the greatest differentiation, older adults are all unique, and should be respected as individuals. The more we marginalize our elders, the more we rob them of the fulfilling respectable lives they deserve. I know that was not in any way your intent, but it is a stereotype that is constantly propagated in our society.
Sorry for being the PC police.
