To me it looks like he is scratching his head and saying, 'whelp... It could be worse, I could get drafted by the browns.'

The other thing a potential trade from 6 to 2 would represent is that the Redskins think Ryan Tannehill isn't an NFL quarterback.
So like the Eli Manning trade, if the Redskins get RG3 and become relevant again and he's everything you ask for, but Tannehill also goes on to become a top 10 QB in the NFL, then that's effectively losing the trade. Because even offering that much for RG3 isn't just an evaluation on Griffin, but Tannehill as well.
well yeah, I think thats why they do the deal. They dont believe Tannehill is a ready to be a starter in the league. They look at RG3 and say he is ready. The quarterback comparison, talent vs value/draft position was the absolute first question they answered. Of course its a statement on Tannehill. If he was of equal talent and NFL ready, they would take him at 6.

Can't help but think the Browns have the edge if they want them. The Rams would only lose 2 spots and can still pick who they want, and they get two first round picks instead of later round picks. In my mind, Cleveland just has a better potential offer if they want him.
Also can't help but wonder - we were 5-11, and the browns were 4-12. It's fun to have trounced the SuperBowl winning NY Giants x 2 last year, but it did end up costing us several draft picks if we do this deal for RG3.

Some people this weekend have apparently been saying, and I don't know where this is coming from, that there is a team (maybe Miami, maybe Seattle?) that is looking to move up above where the Redskins currently are to get Tannehill.
I mean I guess that means the Vikings spot at #3, which seems insanely high to get RT. But if that's the case then maybe the Redskins feel they need to make this move. The danger of course is in getting fooled by a bluff.
As for the Eskin rumors...he's an ass. But that's beside the point, that's not quite what I've heard (that's closer to what I'd heard to get Luck at 1) but it's certainly feasible.
Been out all day, but from what I've heard some more reports of Orakpo being part of a potential deal are starting to come out.
Heard we spent a lot of time with Kirk Cousins today as well. Anyone know if he ran today? If so, what was his 40?

Smoot, based on what you know now, what scenarios do you think are most likely for us as far as getting a qb?
