This reminds of a funny now story.

I had these Jordan's back in the day:

My mom always loved to give stuff away to Good Will and she hates clutter. She asked me if I had anything to give one day and I told her just the black shoes in my room (meaning a pair similar to the squeaky ones Mooby posted). Ok she says. Later in the day I went to go get my Jordan's and all that was left was the black pair of Nikes, the Jordan's were gone after only having them a week. I was pissed but figured hey some poor kid is loving life right now. I thin kthat was also my last pair of Jordan's.ouch, but good looking on the bright side

Bostonian Classics for work shoes. Timberline boots, Sperry top siders, Vans Off the wall.

Had my first pair of Vans I ordered out of a skateboarding mag in the 70's. I can remember everyone joking on my ugly shoes and a few years later everyone was starting to wear them. I've probably own more Van then any other brand of shoes.

It was kinda getting me down that I thought I was the only person wearing skateboarding shoes. And a chick at that.

ISO: Male. skateboarder. Preferably single. Inquire within.

I still ride a ramp with my friends son but its a smaller 1/2 pipe. I can still get some air but nothing close to what I could do when I was younger. I was never really into the street riding just ramps and 1/2 pipes. Do you ride?

I watched 'Dogtown and Z-Boys' and wished I'd have been there. Must have been a riot.

Now? Hay-ellz, no! Bits stay broken waaaay too long to make the risk-reward worth it.

Good luck in your quest, D-Rave.

D Rave this was one of the first wide boards ever made I had and it looked so funny going from a board that was 4 inches wide to one that was 10inches.

I can't seem to get the hang of skateboarding. I do a little better on a longboard, but not by much.

my best friend is an amazing skater, i can stay on the board and that's just about it. i learned to skate while listening to huey lewis and the news' "the power of love" on repeat over the course of a week in florida. keep at it, persistence is the key
