According to the Washington Post Hankerson had surgery to repar a torn labrum in his hip last Tuesday. He expects to be ready for training camp...one can only hope.

All in all, not good news, and it makes getting a top wide receiver even more important for us.

At WR I think we need to add at least two. We need some depth once a guy goes down with injury which is bound to happen. I am still into adding Eddie Royal as well.

I dont want to see any ex colt player beside Peyton IF we were to sign him. No Reggie Wayne, hes old, weve seen that before. I want us to hit them with something theyve never seen.

But regardless if its Manning, RGIII, Luck, whoever... I do want us to SIGN VJAX... he really is the best WR available and hed make such an impact.

I am not a fan of the redskins but i have gotten to know the team very well because of a mock draft game I play on my teams board.

I do not think Reggie Wayne is a good fit as a redskin his best days are behind him and he just doesnt seem like he would fit.

Vincent jackson is a guy who needs a lot of touches to be happy and could clash with Shanahan.

Stevie Johnson would probably be the best choice if he hits the market.

Once I get my 10 posts ill show you guys what I did what the Redskins in that mock draft type game.

Well if we trade up for RGIII then we might as well forget a decent WR in the draft. Hopefully we can pick up a qualified WR in FA. Here is some news on that end though...

Redskins hoping to address receiver position in free agency (http://network.yardbarker.com/all_sports/article_external/redskins_hoping_to_address_receiver_position_in_fr ee_agency/10136545)

According to ProFootballWeekly.com, the Washington Redskins are looking to add a wide receiver via free agency that can become an instant starter.

If they aren’t able to sign a viable receiver in free agency, they would then likely turn to the draft to fill one of the biggest needs on their roster.

The one name I heard as a possibility for the Redskins is Colts wide receiver Pierre Garcon, who just turned down a five-year $35 million offer from the Colts.

Also if the Chargers don’t tag Vincent Jackson, the Redskins might make a run at him.

I'm not sure i'd be standing in line to beat 35 mill for garcon...

I heart Vincent Jackson, but he's 29 and a bit too much of a primadonna. Eddie Royal is only 25. The last 10 Super Bowl winners have proven you don't need an elite WR to win it all.

The top flight guys of the last few years havent faired too well when it comes to Championships - Fitz, TO, Moss, Megatron, Andre Johnson, etc. We just need great QB play surrounded by good enough talent. No need to overreach or over pay for a WR.

Don't want Jackson or Wayne. Jackson has too much baggage and Wayne is too old. No thanks.

This makes sense for both sides

Reggie Wayne hasn’t heard from Colts, open to playing for Patriots | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/02/12/reggie-wayne-hasnt-heard-from-colts-open-to-playing-for-patriots/)

I'm sure Wayne would do well for the Pats but they need to burner.
