I've never been a big Schaub fan. Don't feel he comes through when needed more often than not.

I like that idea, although I would not give up day one pick (1st or 2nd) for him. How awesome would it be if we trade our 3rd round pick for Schuab, then trade down with our 1st pick to garner more picks and draft a QB and safety in 2nd round..

This would probably mean no Mario Williams for the Texans.

Nay. Injury history and I feel if you took Andre Johnson away from him he wouldn't be that great. Combine that with the fact that we don't currently have Andre Johnson on our roster and that's a bad sign.

We could get VJax, Bowe, or Colston to be Schaub's A. Johnson...well close to A. Johnson, that dude a is a beast.

I still don't think any of the aforementioned are long term solutions though, which are my first choice. The only short term solution I'm comfortable with is Manning.

Before that would happen, Manning would have to be willing to put his Indianapolis legacy at risk, given that he’d be playing the Colts twice in 2012.

Manning isn't asked to be released, the Colts would be the reason he'd be playing them twice a year if he went to the Texans. I hope he would just so he could stomp them twice a year. Would be hilarious and vindication for Peyton.
