If Welker catches that ball. Game over!!

If Lee Evans holds onto that pass, it's Game over and they aren't even in the Super Bowl.

If Cundiff doesn't shank his kick, they might not make it in over time.


If Tom Brady's mysterious fumble called back with the "tuck rule", they never beat the Oakland Raiders on route to their first game.

If Vinateri misses both of those Super Bowl game winners, they would be 1-5 in the Super Bowl.



Lots of ifs.

Free agency should start tomorrow, that would end tampering.

It was nowhere near the end zone and there were 4 minutes left. But again, beside thepoint.

They score a TD on that drive. And waste another 2 mins of the clock at least.

Manningham made the catch and Welker didnt...both were game changers. Those will the be plays i remember most from this game. The Welker non-catch was a flat out drop.

I think this game signifies the importance of getting a franchise qb. Which is why I don't want to settle for Orton/Tannehill, or whatever pair of 2nd rate qb's is available. I mean when was the last time a team won a Super Bowl without a franchise guy at qb? Baltimore with Trent Dilfer? The NFL today is set up for elite quarterbacks to succeed, not just in the regular season but in the SB. If Luck or RG3 is that guy, than we need to go get him. No more settling for 2nd best.
