Goodell: If NFL expands, it'll add two more teams - CBSSports.com (http://eye-on-football.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22475988/34676017)
Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday on Costas Live on the NBC Sports Network that if the league places a team in L.A., the NFL probably would add two more franchises to make it an even 34.
So, maybe not move a team to LA but create a new one.....
And then another city yet to be named gets a team.

Really? You're wondering if I'm serious about Sioux City and Cheyenne being NFL expansion cities?
I've also heard Terrell Owens' Allen Wranglers may join the NFC West

Toronto is smack dab in the middle of Buffalo's "territory". As long as Ralph Wilson is alive as one of the original AFL owners, I don't think that is going to happen to him.
Portland and Las Vegas would definitely need new stadium facilities.
Why not Birmingham for an NFL team? They supported teams in the past and Alabama is a "hotbed" for football. Just a thought...

I oppose expansion. It will dilute talent and hence the game. Besides, 32 teams works out so neatly in terms of divisions, etc.
However, if there is expansion, one of the new teams had better be the Hattiesburg Heretics.

Chicago could support two teams like NY does.
I would like to see a team in Vegas. I think they could sell a lot of tickets to non residents. It would make a great super bowl host too.
Salt Lake City would be interesting too. (they have a larger population than Indy for example)
No to Yerp and Mexico.

I think both of the new expansion teams should be in NYC, making the number of teams 4.
Or two more teams in Jacksonville. :cheeky-sm
Seriously though, I don't think there needs to be anymore teams in California, especially if LA gets a team. I like Las Vegas. I am surprised they don't have more professional teams there will the big draws of people to the city. Texas doesn't need any more teams either.
Talk about small market teams, I think Sioux City or Cheyenne would be way too small for an NFL base. Why not a team in Salt Lake and get the mormon fan base energized and into the NFL?
