NC_Skins 02-06-2012, 12:39 AM Peyton Manning flexible on deal demands, sources say - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7543001/peyton-manning-flexible-deal-demands-sources-say) A 2010 study of 99 players with neck injuries showed that 76 percent successfully returned to the playing field. Eight quarterbacks were part of the study, including Chris Weinke and Brad Johnson. Weinke and Manning have been in contact with each other because their cases are similar, according to Weinke, who won a Heisman Trophy and national title at Florida State a year after a neck injury that required a fusion and total nerve regeneration. SmootSmack 02-06-2012, 12:46 AM I still would be surprised if he does sign here, but I'm 100% behind making a run at him CultBrennan59 02-06-2012, 12:57 AM I still would be surprised if he does sign here, but I'm 100% behind making a run at him Interesting how Kyle wants him and Mike doesn't. I thought I heard the opposite somewhere else. I'd be down for Peyton if he were 100% healthy, younger, and wasn't in this bootleg offense. SS, if, If, we get PM, what WR's would we go after? NC_Skins 02-06-2012, 01:11 AM So let me get this straight. Concerning PM. Mike doesn't want, but Kyle does. Concerning RGIII. Mike wants, but Kyle doesn't. Can these two guys ever get on the same page in regards to a QB? CultBrennan59 02-06-2012, 01:21 AM So let me get this straight. Concerning PM. Mike doesn't want, but Kyle does. Concerning RGIII. Can these two guys ever get on the same page in regards to a QB? It's pretty simple; MS is old school and likes Vet QB's. KS is new school and likes Rookies to train. Bu in any reality if we are to get rid of Grossman and Beck then there are two holes to fill and it's only logical that one spot be a Vet who's serviceable and the other a Rookie to develope or start if ready. KS likes rookies but wants Peyton Manning and MS likes vets but wants Robert Griffin III? Yep that makes sense. |
