Another resourceful and informative post filled with excellent grammar and pronunciation. Nice. skinsguy 02-16-2012, 12:31 PM I realize those are just concept unis (I've seen these floating around the net for awhile) but if any of these have a chance of actually making it, I hope it's not THAT Redskins helmet. I think the helmet looks horrid. I'd much rather keep the current one, or maybe incorporate the current one with the old spear and feather...but you HAVE to keep the helmet burgundy. I actually prefer what Summo posted awhile back....it's simple but updated. skins89moss 02-18-2012, 04:33 AM Ok, I know our uniform topic gets old popping up every year but I just wanted to point out a few I saw over at another site. I thought they were ok.... http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h303/rd421/70thAnniversary.jpg http://thesonofwashington.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/blackout-unis.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c276/DmstcDisturbance/Nike_Pro_Combat_Template_4_.png I hope the links work. lol. Those are badass uniforms, wish our team would sport them. Summo 02-21-2012, 09:31 AM I did a search and I couldn't find if anyone else brought this up, if so I apologize if it has, any way did anyone notice that New Era is the new hat supplier for the NFL ie. sidelines, Super Bowl Pro bowl etc.? I don't know how I feel about this. Much of what they make are those stupid Flat bill hats that are popular now. During this years pro bowl some of the players were wearing New Era NFC, AFC hats that looked as if they were flat bills that they tried to shape. http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQHnj_kiN9C2GhjLrmZzn9OvHHm2set0 s89friqwvyKJjQ48crq8WiJVqkM skinsguy 02-21-2012, 09:57 AM I did a search and I couldn't find if anyone else brought this up, if so I apologize if it has, any way did anyone notice that New Era is the new hat supplier for the NFL ie. sidelines, Super Bowl Pro bowl etc.? SBXVII 02-21-2012, 10:55 AM Why are they trying to make the caps look dorky with the flat bills? I'm not a fan of flat bills but to attempt to answer your question I'd presume it's because either A- it's popular now and B- this company is trying to make a name for itself and stepping out of the norm to do it. Personally I think the flat bills are stupid. Makes people look like dorks. I'm even picky about where my hat is made. I prefer the hats made in Bangladesh (I think thats it) because the bills are thinner and are more easy to form to my liking. skinsguy 02-21-2012, 11:58 AM I kind of figured it must be the "in" thing right now. Kind of like those trucker hats...I just don't get those either. Then again, I'm kind of a plain type of guy anyway. I'm not into the latest and greatest fashions...probably because the latest and greatest are more geared for those much younger than me. MTK 02-21-2012, 12:04 PM 90% of hats these days suck. I prefer the simple classic looks. I also like an unstructured fitted hat. Hate those straps or those one size fits all, they're always too tight. skinsguy 02-21-2012, 12:08 PM 90% of hats these days suck. I prefer the simple classic looks.
