And we're bringing all the change we've got to Sundays." Sunday's Pro Bowl provided a teaser to the future with players wearing Nike's fashionably cool Vapor Jet gloves and colorful cleats. Thank goodness the Redskins have a history with their uniforms, I feel bad for the fans of teams like the Jags that have to put up with a bland uniform like that. Why not just give them an all black uniform that just says Jaguars on the front? redskin29633 02-03-2012, 08:10 PM I'm sure you guys will just love this article: Nike pushes for dramatic change in NFL uniforms - Sun Sentinel (http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2012-01-31/sports/fl-nike-nfl-uniforms-0131-20120131_1_uniforms-nfl-teams-nike-gear) Very interesting. Everbody sworn to secrecy until after the Super Bowl; that seems to suggest that the NFL will indeed have a new look in 2012. Maybe one of these artist conceptions will turn out to be close to accurate when it comes to the Redskin uniform appearance for next season. Looking forward to seeing the new Nike version. skinsguy 02-04-2012, 10:27 AM Very interesting. From what I understand, the drastic change with Nike is in the form of the material that the uniforms are made of, which will probably provide, naturally, a different look all in itself. As far as logo changes, the NFL teams control all of that. They ultimately decide color scheme and so forth. Certainly, it's not out of the question for Nike to propose certain changes at the discretion of the NFL owners. los panda 02-04-2012, 02:46 PM i dig the all black as a side dish but not as the main course. i am very confused by the article on nfl.com - they mention a change from adidas to nike. did they mean from reebok to nike? can anyone shine any light upon my ignorance? |
