Something like that actually happened but I'm not sure where. A small town collected funds and nursed an injured seal back to health. The town became attached to the seal and all turned out the day of its release. The band was playing people cheering as they watched the little seal swim off. About 200 yards off the beach a killer whale came up and snatched the seal as the people watched.
