I dont see the issue about that hit. Had he connected, a completely legal hit. If a QB runs, you hit them.

if you end up "saving" more money on your purchases than you would have earned by working those days... that's sad, and you probably aren't in a good position to be making large purchases.

right. The attempt at the hit is what is wrong with the game currently. There wasn't a need to do it...a typical more safe tackle would have sufficed and probably been more practical...but it is ingrained in these guys to take these big shots. The only purpose for such a hit is to invoke injury..there's no other justification for it.
