I beleive this to be the greatest hit ever by a Safety, and for the record Okoye probably was equal to 4 punters at the time.

To me, this is by far the best hit I've ever seen in the NFL. People would have to know about the Nigerian Nightmare's running style and how he used to truck over people to grasp how great of a hit this really was. One game I'm glad to have seen live on TV, and the play has always stuck in my head.

That's a great stop but not such a hard hit and its actually a lucky hit as well.

Asm far as the PB they should just do away with if they are going to play like that. Or have a flag football game.

Atwater was known as a great hitter though so I dont think it was luck as much as great body position by atwater. Now he did not wrap up but he got nice and low and exploded through the ball carrier. On a side note I had totally forgotten about the nickname the nigerian nightmare! That made me smile!
