Genius for the skins would be to sign manning, trade up for luck or rg3, let them battle for it in training camp, if Peyton requests to leave, trade him!!!
If the skins sign Manning they assume he'll play for 3 years at least so I doubt we'd also take a qb high

I see them drafting Blackmon or Richardson giving McCoy another year and possibly signing a FA QB to backup Colt.
I just dont see drafting Richardson as part of Cleveland's plan. They are trying to re-sign Hillis, so it seems more logical that they would focus early draft choice on something other than a running back.

Is this the same Hillis that was a pain all season for them?

So I was listening to Mike and Mike today and they had Two Tall Jones on, they asked him who were the QB's he hated to play against, basically knew his work would be cut out for him and his response was... Frank Tarkenton, Joe Theismann... etc etc. Basically said he didn't like the scrambling QB's.
Which also got me thinking ... maybe we are going about our QB position all wrong, our last FRANCHISE QB was Theismann and he came to the Skins as a kick returner. So lets go get a 6' + kick returner and make him a QB. lol.

That's Ed "Too Tall" Jones, as in too tall to play football. The label stuck as a nickname.
Theismann came to the Skins as a QB but he was stuck behind Jurgensen and Kilmer on the depth chart. He was so anxious to play football that he begged his way onto the field as a punt returner. He also punted once, with disastrous results.

It's hard believe just back in the 70's and 80's, you had quarterbacks doing more than just quarterbacking the team. Just like Danny White serving as punter for the Cowboys as well as quarterback. You would think it would have made the other team's special teams think fake on every punting down.

How about a 6+ who used to play wide receiver and make him an NFL QB and rhymes with Benadryl? :)

Ok here's hopefully my last crazy/funny idea.... lets take B.Banks and coach him up to play QB and beef up the OL. The way I see it.... defenses can't hit below the knees, can't hit helmet to helmet, so what are the 6' 300 pound DL's going to grab? and maybe if he crouches down so his helmet is at his knees then they really can't touch him. lol. Then we can use the Wild Cat more and B.Banks will have a bigger role in the offense and we don't have to worry about his small frame getting injured. lol.

Manning may be a fit for Kyle Shannahan offense. Matt Schaub is a downgraded version of Payton
