Woo! 5 more years of questionable calls on legal hits and non-calls on illegal hits!

In all seriousness, that's about the only thing I can find unsatisfactory during his tenure so far. So I'm definitely not against this move.

thats the only thing? it's a pretty big thing i think. it has changed the way the game is being played, and while i am all for player safety the inconsistancy of these calls and the ridiculously inconsistant fining of players for these hits is a joke. and don't even get me started on his stupid obbsession with trying to play more nfl games to other countries and expanding the nfl into other countries. i personally do not like goodell very much and won't be sad when he is gone.

You don't want the London Redskins and the Paris Cowboys?

It is a pretty big thing but I think it's something that can be worked on and improved upon. Consistency with the refs is a big issue but I think once the next big issue comes along we won't remember the flags for questionable hits as much. Remember how a huge emphasis was made on calling defensive pass interference a few years ago when the Colts wideouts got mugged in the playoffs against the Pats? Look at today, they hardly ever call it anymore. It's all about what the current point of emphasis is today in the league, and right now hard hits is it.
