The good news is Weeden is not afraid to wear an arm band. I can prove it....

My God that makes him look dumb.

I would not be surprised if the Redskins draft Weeden, Shanahan likes him according to article on Redskins Insider.

Trying being the operative word. While I would love to have Griffin, a bidding war is the last thing the Redskins should be involved with in their quest to move up. Our roster is not yet sufficiently re-worked to the point where we can afford to part with a bunch of quality picks.:headbange

Thats my point. I think if the Skins were not coaching the Senior Bowl then half of what everyone is talking about I could see happening. RGIII, Tannehill so one and so forth. Since the coaching staff is coaching and they have had interaction with the QB's and seem to have built a decent raport with Weeden then I could see them adjusting their plan and deciding to draft Weeden instead plus get to keep their draft picks.

Which is why I think there might be either some rumors that won't be happening.

I want to agree with you as I know that is Holmgren's inclination, but I just just can't help but feel like with all of these extra picks he has he won't go for the big fish this time. If you play the percentage game about us getting RG3 vs not, I can't help but feel we are on the bad side. There are so many situations working against us. If we just hadn't beat the Giants none of this would be an issue...

Or if we just hadn't won any games (sarcasm font needed here)

If you get your qb though you can build around him.

its hard to say for certain since the style of play has changed for all the NFL but it appears the giants have built there team around Eli and the passing after trading up for him.

Well, I will say this. If Weeden has a nice showing at the Senior bowl and a good combine, I don't see how he would drop to the 3rd round.

Well he threw 2 interceptions and no tds. Not really a good showing at all, even compared to Grossman. lol... I liked what I saw of him in college but that was awful.
