Redskins 2012 Salary Cap StatusHog1 01-22-2012, 09:05 PM Good Stuff GTripp! Thanx for the effort............... BaltimoreSkins 01-22-2012, 10:02 PM Taken from Evan Silva's indispensable rotoworld article (http://rotoworld.com/articles/nfl/39667/59/nfl-free-agent-master-list?pg=1): The league against DeAngelo Hall, QB passer rating (on passes where Hall is targeted): 2010 - 105.8 2011 - 100.4 That about sums up the Redskins shut down corner. There are some upgrades on that list if they can pull it off. I'd like someone coming from a team that has a culture of winning a la Ross from Giants musicmaster45 01-22-2012, 11:20 PM How bout Ladarius Webb from the Ravens??? chrisl13 01-22-2012, 11:21 PM Sorry, I'm a little dumb with this cap space stuff. So how much will we have going into free agency in March? SFREDSKIN 01-22-2012, 11:26 PM Terrell Thomas is probably the best CB from the list, big physical and good cover, unfortunately he gets hurt quite a bit. EARTHQUAKE2689 01-23-2012, 12:02 AM If we don't draft Claiborne then I'd go for Webb or Grimes and am starting to come around to the Dwayne Bowe playing for us theory. Him or Vincent Jackson. GTripp0012 01-23-2012, 06:43 AM Sorry, I'm a little dumb with this cap space stuff. So how much will we have going into free agency in March?$38 million is what the Redskins have right now, but that's a bit misleading because of all their free agents. They have about $15 or $16 million with which to improve the team and about an additional $30 million in salary flexibility with players on their own roster. Him or Vincent Jackson.Lardarius Webb is a restricted free agent. CrazyCanuck 01-23-2012, 05:21 PM http://fanspeak.com/washingtonredskins/2012/01/19/where-the-redskins-stand-with-their-salary-cap/ "According to The Warpath.net the Redskins have a projected cap commitment next year of $82.75 million. Now even the Warpath.net will admit that their numbers aren’t official, but they do an excellent job of finding the information out from news reports and various other sources, and next to having access to the league’s official cap numbers it is about as good as you are going to get. Now I cross checked their numbers with other sources such as Rotoworld (which doesn’t always give the cap numbers and you need to guesstimate a lot) and Sportrac, and the Warpath numbers looked to be on in just about every case. So while they could be slightly off their numbers seem to be close enough to the mark to evaluate." :embarrass Schneed10 01-23-2012, 07:21 PM Go on brush your shoulders off, CC. |
