Never mind I answered my own question:
Free Agency Open Thread 3.0 With Salary Cap Update - Hogs Haven (http://www.hogshaven.com/2012/3/13/2869881/free-agency-open-thread-3-0-with-salary-cap-update)
"Pierre Garcon: Base salary: $2.1m, $11m signing bonus. The bonus prorated over 5 years is $2.2 million per year, meaning that absent any hidden fees, he only accounts for $4.3 million against the cap in 2012."

Post of the day
You ain't lying. 9.2 seems like enough to re-sign Fletch and an OT, You would at best get a 5th for Gaffney Tripp.

Do you have a source for Garcon's number? Not trying to bust your balls I'm just curious cuz I've seen conflicting reports.
This story Redskins reach deals with two wide receivers, re-sign DE Adam Carriker - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/redskins-reach-deals-with-three-wide-receivers-re-sign-de-adam-carriker/2012/03/13/gIQA9xQXAS_story.html) says "He accepted a five-year deal from the Redskins worth $42 million — $21.5 million of it guaranteed — according to people with knowledge of the situation."
If you assume a $21.5M signing bonus, his 2012 SB allocation would be $4.3M. Add in salary and/or roster bonus and his cap hit is over $5M at least.
This story Ex-Colts receiver Pierre Garcon agrees to 5-yr, $42.5M deal with Redskins - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/ex-colts-receiver-pierre-garcon-says-hes-signing-with-the-redskins-on-1st-day-of-free-agency/2012/03/13/gIQAhTGCAS_story.html) says "The contract includes $20.5 million in guaranteed money, with an $11 million signing bonus."
If you assume an $11M signing bonus, his 2012 SB allocation would be $2.2M. How do you get to $4.3M?I've only ever seen the SB at $11.
Pierre Garcon - Washington Redskins - 2012 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com (http://rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4945/pierre-garcon)
$2.2 SB + $2.1 guaranteed base salary.
Always the possibility of a 50k workout bonus or a weekly roster bonus or something along those lines that wasn't reported, but in the absence of that, it's $4.3 million.

Perry Riley means we have a front 6 and as long as jenkins is in good shape we have a defensive front good rotation.
We have 2 decent but not good corners. I wish we would get another and we need safety help bad.

But if you don't have anyone to push him, you'll be in trouble vs the run if he misses time. And obviously Fletcher is a different issue entirely, but takes up a huge percentage of the remaining cap if he re-signs.

I would take the 5th for Gaffney and roll with it.

So does that mean we will see a resolution to this sooner rather than later?
