The NFL isnt attempting to make the league QB driven, its already been done.

Yeah, I mean consider that Drew Brees took the number 1 defense in the league for 32 points. Usually thats more then enough to win.

Well look at it this way. With Greg Williams gone, maybe they can get a decent defense and dominate the league with multiple super bowl wins the next few years. ;)

Your words are duly marked.

Are you willing to reveal which of the two reviled QBs on the current Skins' roster will be retained as the starter and who will lead them to the NFC Championship game?

Neither one, the skins could do what Cincy did. Could they not? Weren't you one who said Harbaugh was a college coach?

It is. You gotta have some D to win a championship and it was obvious that NO & GB really had problems on D.

..and all of the QB stars except Tom Brady are at home wondering why the their Superman cape the NFL gave them did not work this last weekend. Brady has an uphill battle to make it to the big game. Guess the NFL will have to change more rules so their designated money makers can make it next year. Ten guys on defense or only four men can rush the passer.

Right now I'm predicting a New England/San Francisco Super Bowl. Which Tom Brady will loose because he will be unable to summon the courage to beat his childhood team :D

Also keep in mind that right next to the Superman capes of Brees and Rodgers sits a Super Bowl ring.

I dont really know what you are talking about. Manning, Smith & Brady are all QB stars. Flacco isnt quite in their league. All the remaining teams also play good D.

The league had to open things up because fans just werent interested in watching 9-6 games. The NFL is more exciting now than it has ever been and they will never change the rules to go back to the boring old days.

Shutting out the Falcons offense and then holding the Packers to 20 points.

May I point also just as mike Goalic(sp) did this morning that the 2 really bad calls in the Packer game kept the drive from ending so they would not have scored had those BS calls not been made to extend the drives.

While I agree that generally more offense means more excitement and more viewers it's not always the case. In the case of the NFL opening up the game has worked. In the NBA it has all but failed, as one of the most frequent complaints about the NBA is that no one plays defense.

I'm just one person but actually I prefer low-scoring battles.
