I'll make sure to remind you next year.

Oh please do. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see it.

Next year the Redskins will be this years 49ers, mark my words.

That is my hope. Every year some team comes from out of nowhere and next year it might as well be us. We need a real QB, though, before it can happen.

Yeah I believe there is some truth behind that. Looking back at the culture and methods of the front office, just wasnt smart. I think the move to pick up D Hall mid season and then to pay him a effing ridiculous contract shortly there after really pissed off Carlos. He coulda kept it professional but his lashing out every now and then just pissed off everyone, but that what the skins were, a drama filled circus. Change of scenery can be very beneficial for players, it was in Carlos's case.

That is exactly what happened, thank Vinny "the village idiot" for signing Hall and Haynesworth. I was extremely pissed at those moves, while many were saying we are going to the SB. I said the Giants made the right moves at the time signing Canty, Boley, Bernard and others. How did it turn out?

Of course we need a QB and we'll get one. At the same time as the Giants and 49ers have proved, you need a strong OL and D. We have the D and need to focus on the OL and CB in addition to QB. If we can't get RGIII, I say trade down make a run at David DeCastro or Jonathan Martin, we would get an extra pick in either the 1st or 2nd and make a run at young QB in the draft. Drafting smart like last year will fix this team of many problems. The young OL Hurt, Smith, Polumbus, proved we now have depth at the OL.

The reality is Rogers wanted a long term big $$ deal and the Skins weren't willing to give him what he wanted. Nobody else wanted to pay him either at the time, as evident by the fact he signed a 1 year deal with SF. Good for him that he played well this year and likely earned his big payday. He moved on, so should we.

Leaving the disfunction of the Skins is why a lot of players that leave the Skins suddenly seem to play better than they ever have. I also think its why players that dont seem very talented often play very good in solid organizations like NE, Pgh & Balt. That said I do think that MS is getting rid of the culture of disfunction in Wash.

I think this happens to every team in the NFL.

It seems that the two everyone is making a fuss about is Carlos and Andre, and both of them left for very understandable reasons that had nothing to do with how bad our management is and such. The redskins didn't want to pay Carlos big money, MattyK pointed it out, NO ONE ELSE DID.

Now that he finally held on to some picks, he'll get that big pay day finally. I thought we, as a fan base, were tired of over paying players? If we had given Carlos a top 5 CB contract, wouldn't that just be overspending again?

I also would like to mention that no one else brings up Ladell Betts, Rock Cartwright, Randy Thomas, Casey Rabach, Randel El, Fred Smoot and others who were released and allowed to walk.

I just saw the NE didn't beat single a team in the regular season that finished over .500. Crazy.

And I know it's a few days late, but can someone please tell me why Gregg Williams is such a highly touted coordinator? His defenses have sucked for years now. Sure when the Saints won the SB they forced a ton of turnovers that year, but overall his track record is ho-hum at best IMO. Not too many people make Alex Smith look like a pro-bowler.
