Time to 'Occupy Valley Ranch' until Jerry goes (http://www.foxsportssouthwest.com/01/04/12/Time-to-Occupy-Valley-Ranch-until-Jerry-/landing_cowboys.html?blockID=639500&feedID=3799)

I'm loving this shit.... :laughing-

This asshole really went down to the sideline to "advise" his head coach? This guy ran a oil surveying business, he has no idea how to run a football team. We can only hope this keeps up. I'm loving to see this as a Skins fan.

That was all over talk radio down here a few weeks ago, I called in to ask them if Jerry would have done that if Bill Parcells or Cower would have been the coach, they hung up on me and said that he would have because he is always doing meddling stuff like that. I said BS!!! He wouldnt have walked up behind a coach with nads and did that. Wade yes Parcells no.

I cant believe that Houston has gotten this far with the QB staff that they have.
They have been playing on borrowed time.
I think Baltimore's defense will put the hurt on them.

I like Houston because we experienced the same QB-situation at my own team this year, so I kinda feel for them. And I don´t like the Ravens that much. Still, even though I´d prefer them to win, I don´t think they´ll be able to.

You do know that Jerry Jones was the captain of the Arkansas football team that won the National Championship back in the 60s, right? Oh, and Jimmy Johnson was his teammate - - and I think they were fraternity brothers also - - at Arkansas.

He did indeed run an oil service business; that is where he made the money it took to buy the Cowboys. But Jones did play the game at a fairly high level.

Having said all that, I doubt that his "advice" was of any value to Jason Garrett who was probably juggling ten balls in the air at the same time. But do not make the mistake of assuming that Jerry Jones knows nothing about football the way many NFL owners know nothing about football.

No comparison between D's and jj. Jones knows the game and has won multiple championships ds was just a lucky fan to buy the team

New week, new thread, let's do this.

I wonder what sort of impact this could have?

Tom Brady: Josh McDaniels has “inside information” on Broncos | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/01/10/tom-brady-josh-mcdaniels-has-inside-information-on-broncos/)

Over blown. This will have as much impact as doing a really solid and thorough job of film work. Everything that McDaniels can offer is visible on film. Unless the Broncos have kept the same hand signal audibles that they had when McDaniels was their coach, which I know they have not, then there will be next to no impact. Just makes for more press fodder.

I wish Baltimore would win a Super Bowl for Reed, Suggs, Boldin, Ricky Williams, but I just don't see it happening..

I am always highly amused at the general opinion of many fan bases of their idiot, know nothing, etc....owners. I'm thinking...you do know this dude is a self-made Billionaire? He may actually know a thing or two....

Detroit Lions facing big contract decisions in offseason - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7445969/detroit-lions-facing-big-contract-decisions-offseason)

Ouch. Contract year for Megatron. I seriously don't know if you can invest a $100 million dollar contract in a WR when you have a franchise QB who'll be getting top dollar soon, and a stud DL who's already getting top dollar.

I blame the Cardinals for this crap. ****ing idiot owners out there. It will just make them the Colts when they do pay both Stafford and Johnson.

It's also not like they need to clear tons of cap room to pay Stafford, the guy is already the highest paid player on his team.

Just means that all the depth they will have will come via the draft and be with three years or fewer of NFL service.
