rogers is the guy from auburn. I dont think he has near the potential that rolle does. rogers is solid but nothing special. I also agree with taking the top talent. rolle very well could be that when our pick comes ar ound.

Roscoe is basically Santanna Moss. Hes short, but has a vertical tahts over 40 inches. Coles is also short, but really fast. could be a good combo

We need a big receiver. Coles is very fast and is excellent at getting yards after the catch, but he is not a viable threat to catch a 50-yd pass. His longest recpetions tend to be mid-range routes where he makes a guy miss and gets 20 or 25 yards YAC. If (when) Gardner goes, we need a big guy to replace him.

I believe in drafting the best player available regardless of need. Having said that, if the talent is roughly equal among the top players available when we pick, to me we should go with a wide receiver.

Our offense is obviously the top priority in terms of improving the talent. We will improve with experience and Jansen's return on the offensive line. We are giving the keys to Ramsey as long as he keeps improving Gibbs says, and we can expect he will. We have a superb running back. We have Cooley. What is the glaring need?

To me it is speed at wide receiver. Speed first, and then also consistency and dependability. We have to stretch the field. We have to take advantage of Ramsey's arm strength. We have to get all the defenders out of the box to allow Clinton Portis to show what he is capable of. We got Portis but we didn't give him any opportunity to shine.

So for one thing, I would like to see Taylor Jacobs become a starter. He has speed and I think he's a natural. Let's give him a chance and see if he can rise to the occasion. But we need to bring in a wide receiver, and there are going to hopefully be some available - Williamson or Edwards are the kind that fit best with us.

I hope we don't go out and break the bank on an expensive free agent receiver. We don't have to find a guy who is going to be in the prime of his career next year because we have to think a little longer term I think. But if we can draft Williamson or Edwards I think they will have a very significant immediate impact.

If you go TE you draft Heath Miler....from V.A.U

He's Todd Heap but bigger and a better blocker. The guy is the complete page at TE.

I thought we didn't have a second round pick this year. Cooley 3rd for our second round this year with the saints. This guy would be an ideal pick if we didn't get plaxico, and drafted a wr in the first round but moved down for a second round. heath would probrally be gone if we moved down but i was hoping to draft a center or interior lineman in the second round.

Just think guys, back in the day we hade Warren & Diddier... Cooley=Warren and Miller= Diddier. cooley with the catches underneath ( overlooked) and the down field threat with Miller. The skins can find a #2 reciever in free agency, later in the draft or from their own roster. Miller would be a perfect fit for the Gibbs offense. :cool-smil
