IT is not up to him. Flacco is not that good. they honestly could get rid of Flacco and say Ed, Ray and Peyton here is your best shot of getting another ring before you guys are done. I say they have 2 years of legit shots at a SB ring.

After that the Ravens start rebuilding but they would would really only need to fill a few holes becasue they have draft so well over the years.

Also I don't know why you love Flacco so much. Even this past summer you argued with him he still had growing to do and I said he has peaked. Well guess what we were both wrong he decreased.

Flacco isn't the reason they didn't make it to the Super Bowl. You can thank Evans and Cundiff for that. He'll be back next year.

If we sign Peyton Manning I wouldn't draft a QB in rounds 1-3.

Those picks would be better spent trying to add pieces to improve the team.

I would target developmental QB starting round 4 and down.

He also not the reason they made it to the AFC Champ game. One game doesn't define a career and if you go back and watch Flacco he is average at best. He has a great line, good WR's and a great back. If he played in Wash. he would look awful.

I am not saying he is bad I am just saying he is a average Joe at QB, not a franchise put them on my back bring them to the SB type QB.

Flacco just needs to be a bit more consistent. Cameron's play calling didn't help. One game the lost, they only rushed Ray Rice 8 times while Flacco threw the ball some 48 times. (they weren't down that much either)

Maybe not this year, but he would be as good as gone next year. It wouldn't be a Ravens type of move anyway to go after Manning.

Who said I love Flacco? I just don't think he's as bad as his haters make him out to be.

So if I'm understanding you right. Manning/Tannehill is better than Orton/Tannehill because with the former we have a better chance of avoiding the division cellar in 2012 and 2013. But really what you're saying is Manning over the next two years is better than Orton over the next two years? Tannehill is kind of irrelevant to your discussion

Yes pretty much. I don't see Tannehill being ready to help us win for about 2 years so if he's the rookie answer then I want Manning because I know he can win right now. Our QB answer needs to put us in position to win now and secure the position long term. Tannehill covers the future but i don't think Orton is good enough for the now part.

These are the QB scenarios I would like to see:

1. Luck + Any Veteran(Maybe even Rex will do) + Late round developmental QB
2. Bradford + Any Veteran(Maybe even Rex will do) + Late round developmental QB
3. RG3 + Okay Veteran like Orton or Moore + Late round developmental QB
4. Manning + Tannehill + Late round developmental QB

I am sure that a lot of people dislike Flacco b/c of the Ravens fans. And while at times he has struggled, he has been the QB of a team that has gone to the playoffs since 2008 (his rookie year) and this year was a forgotten-Lee-Evans-TD-drop away from taking his team to the Super Bowl. I don't think he's an elite QB, but I'd take that any day of the week and twice on Sunday over the crap our team has had under center.

Most of his haters are Ravens fans, lol

If we sign PM I still would want to draft a QB high. Let the young buck learn behind PM for a spell. Should Manning prove fragile, we'd still have a reasonable cameo starter.

This plan turns QB from a position of weakness to, potentially, a position of strength.
