Is this a serious question? I'm pretty confident it's a joke but even if it is I don't really see the hilarity.
Yes, a joke. I kind of feel bad for the Giants. The media's gonna talk about this win for 1 day and then turn their attention to the Peyton fiasco that's going to follow.

How much of a stake are we talking?
Perhaps I'm being naive but Manning's net worth is $115 million and has the money now to invest.
Peyton Manning Net Worth ‹ 2012 Celebrity Net Worth (http://www.therichest.org/celebnetworth/athletes/nfl/peyton-manning-net-worth/)
Snyder is a shrewd businss man with the #2 most valuable franchise ($1.55 bil), always looking for ways/people to increase the "excitement" and revenue of the product. For example, we're going to eventually need a new stadium to keep up with the "Jones" in TX.
I could see him working out a post career minority investor deal with Manning.

Maybe he could replace Sam Huff on the radio broadcast team?

If we wind up with Peyton, is it crazy that I'd consider Richardson at #6?
Just those two alone would be such a tremendous boost to our offense.
We'd actually, you know, keep some opposing coaches up at night don't you think?
If we can get a healthy Peyton in FA then I dont think anyone would complain about whatever we do with out draft but RB is not our 2nd or 3rd or even our fourth biggest need aside from QB, so I would rather see them draft someone else at #6. If we already had peyton at draft time then I would want WR (only if Blackmon is there) and if not then Nest available Oline.

The thing is, we lack playmakers. I view Richardson as one of the premier ones coming into the draft. Helu and Royster are nice players, don't get me wrong, but they are not on the same level IMO.
And I'm someone who usually would go against drafting RB that high. It's just an intriguing option to me given who's likely going to be available when we pick.

Teams don't ditch a potential franchise QB because they 'prefer' another QB.
When a franchise makes the decision that they 'prefer' another QB they are telling everyone that they don't believe the QB the had could become a franchise QB.
That is the ultimate de-valution.
You can label it however you like.
But if the Rams draft RGIII it is what it is.
All this is moot though, because I don't think the Rams are gonna draft RGIII.
And if they do I would be more then happy for the Allen/Shanahan to steal Bradford from them on the cheap.
Who are you referring to when you say "franchise" because in St louis the decision makers who believed in Bradford are all gone?

Yeah I agree we need playmakers on this team but with that in mind wouldn't you think Blackmon is more of a playmaker?

Blackmon's not going to be there when we pick. @ 6 it looks like our options are going to be Richardson, Reiff and maybe Claiborne. If not we'll need to trade down or reach.
I'm not actually against any of those options. I just wouldn't necessarily rule out drafting Richardson at this point.

For those that want Richardson I ask, when was the last time a premier RB started in the Super Bowl?
We've had a lot of RBs by committee in the SB for the past couple of seasons, including this year's SB. I just feel that spending a top 10 pick on a RB is not that much worth it anymore.
