Are we seriously down to criticizing Mike for not holding some scrubs hand to his car on the way out? Is this what Skins fans have stooped to? I'm sure you guys can come up with something better than this, and there are tons of players who want to play for coaches like Shanny (parcells and bellicheck).
Welcome to the offseason!

Thats what happens when the team continues to lose.

Locklear has a point, a very small point. After spending 5 months together 6 days a week you would think MS might like to say good bye to his team.
With that said Locklear wasn't coming back so MS probably doesn;t care much what he thinks.
Though it does seems like MS lack of tact (as its been referred to here) could cause trouble trying to get FA. How many people want to work with that type of person? Most are willing to for more money but that still hurts the team overall.Absolutely correct. If some dude tweets his displeasure with the team and a reporter reports it, well, then it goes away the next day. Who cares? It's such a small issue. Why even respond? It doesn't make sense.

I don't know about Parcells' antics much, but Bellichick's antics have always happened when he has had a winning team as far as I know. Honestly, I think this is a bit of a non-story, but at the same time I don't see the need for MS to act the way he acted. Once he starts winning, MS can do whatever the hell he wants to do, in the meantime, every little thing (such as this story) will be criticized by fans and the media.Bottom line. People will want to come play for the Redskins and be a part of the tradition of the Redskins if the team is winning, regardless of how the coach treats people who aren't useful to him anymore.

Locklear pretty much exemplifies why Shanahan does what he does. Player emotions are running high at the end of the season, so he gives everyone a chance to cool down and then he starts talking to players individually a few weeks from now

He was asked about it at the press conference and he gave a wise crack answer. Are we really parsing his words regarding a journeyman who will be lucky to be in the league next year? Really?!?

He even laughed about it.
This is such a non issue it's not even funny.
