I'd take my chances with Flyn waaay before I'd hitch my wagon to RGIII.
You are seriously tripping. RG3 is a has elite accuracy, elite arm, and elite mobility. He graduated in the top 6% of his class in just three years. Plus I think he's only 21 years old. You must don't watch to much college football. Now I will admit that I do like Flynn. But RG3 has the potential to be a superstar qb in this league. You don't pass on him.

Mat Flynn looks like a probowler today. I hope the our first move we make in free agency is to sign Mat Flynn. I know it is only one game, but he is the best QB available. I think he will get a contract of about 8 million. I am pulling the trigger and if Rg3 comes available I am taking him also.

I agree. Sign him and draft at least one qb. We need competition at the position.

Matt Flynn is a great backup QB who knows Green Bays offense probably better than Aaron Rodgers (being that he's always on the bench with the clipboard studying and seeing the film a different way than Aaron).

Having said that, We need to draft and develop a QB before we just go and commit to ANOTHER Free Agent (QB). I do think Flynn wouldn't be a bad option, and this game is no fluke; he definitely has something there and Yes is definitely better than Grossman. I think based on team, offense, etc. Flynn is a better QB than Cassel.

If we got him I wouldn't be upset, I just prefer we draft and develop someone young.

You are showing your age with that statement. LOL you might be right though.

Yes I am showing my age. :)

I actually would not mind having Flynn to provide competition. But Flynn likely would be very expensive, thus hampering competition and the development of a rookie.

I agree with you. The Redskins should get rid of Grossman and Beck and add 1 QB through free agency and another through the draft. After what I saw of the awful and oftentimes comic relief level of play of QB play this year, both the starter and the backup positions both need upgrading.

Mark Brunell, Aaron Brooks, Matt Hasselbeck, Aaron Rodgers. All backup Packer QB's. All of which has led their team to the playoffs at one point or another. 2 with Super Bowl appearances, 3 with conference championships appearances.

Matt Flynn is the next Packer backup to succeed as a starter elsewhere.

Plus he played in the SEC so the Lions D was like super easy for him to pick apart today.
