From I've heard there was a lot of tension between him and Manning. And Polian may have burned some bridges in Indy.

So what does this mean now with the Polians being outed in Indy and Andrew Luck?

Funny now Fischer is the man. lol. He was rumored to be hired by the Bucks by next week now there's rumor the Colts might hire him.

Yea, the slim chance of us trading to number 1 is out of the question now. New regime in Indy will want to have a franchise QB for the next 15. Polian might have been willing to trade to get a few more draft picks to take a couple more Super bowl runs with Manning.

This is total speculation on my part, but last night on NBC Tony Dungy, who is close with Bill Polian, was saying that he wouldn't just assume that the Colts will take Luck at #1. He said given today's NFL, he'd have to take a hard look at RGIII with the top pick.

Maybe Irsay knew that there was a chance that the Polian's would pass on Luck? Or maybe Manning's tension with them came to a head? Who knows.

So what does this mean now with the Polians being outed in Indy and Andrew Luck?


It probably increases the likelihood that Peyton Manning stays in Indy. Not to say that they won't draft Andrew Luck, I think they will.

Fisher is a great choice. I would take him in DC in a heartbeat.

me too, I figured we'd find a way to get him before gibbs and before zorn were hired. he seems like such an obvious choice. not that i see it happening.
