If he's going to coach anywhere I think it will be in Ind.

I'll agree with you but if the team picks a HC that does not run a similar offense he might choose elsewhere. I'd imagine he'd want to work with his brother first vs going to a rival of his brother.

a New York Jet.

Bringing Mark Sanchez to the Washington Redskins.

Some of you I've told this to already. But here it is for the rest of you.

The key is the Colts taking Andrew Luck and deciding to move on without Peyton Manning. If that happens. Then the Jets want him, and word is the feeling could be mutual.

Feeling is with that defense and running game, Peyton could get one (maybe two) rings to wrap up his career, a la John Elway. I'm not so sure about that, but whatever that's the thought. And then there's also the whole Peyton and Eli both in New York angle. I guess Archie Manning has been letting the Jets quietly know that Peyton would love to play there, again only if the Colts plan to move forward without him. And Rex Ryan and the front office are really intrigued by the possibility. They really like Sanchez but feel that they should be a much more dominating team then they are and are ready to win multiple titles now. And Manning in the short run might give them a better chance at that. As for Manning to the Redskins, I haven't really heard any legit talk about that. Not saying there isn't legit talk of it, I just haven't heard any. So I won't speculate

So then as for Sanchez, the thought for the Jets is try to get something like a 2012 2nd a 2013 1st, or two 2nd and a player. Something along those lines. They could get a young QB with one of those picks and let him sit for a year or two while Peyton plays.

Redskins are seriously considering making a move for Sanchez if he does become available. The thinking being is there a 2nd round QB this year that would be a better option than Sanchez? Tannehill/Foles, etc? I've been told though that they would absolutely not trade a 1st rounder. But they're not against moving multiple 2nd/3rd round picks and/or even recent fan favorites like Roy Helu.

It's always amazing what big name QBs get discussed in trade talks. I remember back in I guess it was October 2008 when I PMd Matty and said the Redskins were looking to trade Jason Campbell for a 3rd. And we both thought it was crazy. Especially since we were 6-2. But sure enough... Or this October when I heard Colt McCoy could be on the move. So a few days ago when I heard about this "starting QB who could be coming to DC", I actually at first thought this was Bradford, since I'd been guessing he'd be possibly traded. Josh Freeman also crossed my mind. But no, it was Mark Sanchez. Checked with a Redskins source, a Jets source, and a media source. They all have verified this rumor. Again, it all hinges on Manning. But if that first domino falls, everything changes.

So to basically modify a bit what NC_Skins heard, which was "Should Peyton Manning become available we would plan to be a player" my info is "Should Peyton Manning become available (he Jets could make a move for him and) we would plan to be a player (for Mark Sanchez)

So anyway, that there is the big rumor that I heard this week. Quote me elsewhere and you're banned :)

Why would the Jets trade Sanchez after just three seasons, two of which he led them to AFC title games? And do so in order to replace him with an aging veteran? Manning has been the best QB and in my opinion, the best player in the NFL for the past 7 or 8 years.

As far as Sanchez being a Redskin, I don't want him. His game is just as full of flaws as Rex Grossman. The only thing that's good about Sanchez is that he's still young. I don't personally want any NFL quarterbacks that have been on the cover of GQ Magazine.

two franchises that were in the AFC championship game 2 years ago are now probably two of the most dysfunctional in the league...wow.

I would guess he wouldn't want to step on his brother's toes.

I know! You can have that Tom Brady guy what a loser! All he does is lose. We need non-GQ guys here that win!
