It's just an informed opinion from an NFL insider that the Redskins would, if Manning is healthy and free, go hard after him. And to maybe the sweeten the pot a bit they'll bring along his good buddy and teammate Jeff Saturday (whereas maybe other teams wouldn't). Look at it this way, the Colts have said that they are not trading him. If he's healthy they will keep him if he's not they will let him go. But what they fail to say is if they draft Luck and Peyton is not happy then they might just be smart in letting him go before he's due his extra money so they don't take such a big CAP hit. If they pay him and trade him they take a bigger hit I think then if they just let him go. Mannings bonus comes in March, the draft is in April. But yeah, if there was no doubt the Manning was 100% healthy and in football shape, it would be awful hard to pass him up, but you don't mortgage the future on him.
